The Mercedes-Benz M-Class is now sharper and more athletic than ever before. Amongst today's SUVs, the M-Class sets the benchmark in terms of style, on and off-road comfort and performance. “Following on from the substantially upgraded new-generation M-Class, this new offering makes the M-Class even more distinctive and dynamic and well suited to a wide range of professional and leisure activities,” adds Mayer.

The M-Class is both a family car and a prestige vehicle, equally at home in a rugged working environment or in the city, and just as adept at challenging the harshest terrain as it is at long-distance highway driving.

Exterior content of the Sports package

The exterior package attributes turns the M-Class into a study in dynamism. Chrome trim on the rub strip and waistline trip strip, the radiator grille painted sterling silver and also finished with chrome strips further emphasises the exclusivity of the M-Class Sports package. The load sill guard on the rear bumper is also in chrome. Blue-tinted glass all round and the rectangular chromed tailpipe strike an especially expressive note. The simulated underguard gleams in stainless steel, the roof rails has a stylish aluminium look and the sterling-silver-painted three-louvre radiator grille shines with chrome highlights.

The M-Class takes on an even more distinctive and incisive look with the 20-inch 5-twin spoke alloy wheels. This premium SUV now looks even more powerful and sportier with the exterior running boards, making a bolder statement in terms of character and presence.

Interior content of the Sports package

The interior package appointments ensure that the inside of the M-Class also makes a very athletic impression. Brushed stainless steel sports pedals with rubber studs complement the sports instrument cluster. The electrically adjustable sports seats, with 4-way lumbar support on the driver’s side, are upholstered in a combination of Alcantaraฎ and ARTICO man-made leather, with contrasting topstitching and a 5-ribbed horizontal design that adds to an irresistibly dynamic ambience.

Unrivaled standard features

The anticipatory occupant protection system PRE-SAFEฎ and NECK-PRO head restraints are standard safety features. For increased safety, the parktronic system is also a standard feature.

Sporty powerful engines

The M-Class Sports package is available with the powerful and economical V6 and V8 petrol or diesel engines, which are now even more fuel-efficient – the ML350, the ML350 CDI and the ML500. The 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive delivers outstanding performance both on and off-road. The standard 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission with optimised shift characteristics translates the power from the engines into refined dynamism.
